KwikBizLite is a complete Business information system, for any SMB company. It handles key business operations.

All the Items/Products that are Purchases/Sold/Produced in your organization is to be defined in this profile. An Item or Product has to be grouped under a Category. The 'Item Master' profile holds the basic information of the Item/Product and these are referred in other profiles. On creating a new entry in this profile, an entry is automatically created in the 'Item Balance' profile for Accounting Year. It is important to give the Item name correctly, since these names cannot be modified later.

KwikBizLite - Business Matters


The Item Master data as kept in KwikBizLite.
Important Elements of this Profile.

Category Type: The Category to which the Item/Product is grouped under. The list of Category Types is referred from the ‘Item Category’ profile.
Item Name: The name of the Item/Product.

UOM: The Unit of Measure for the Item. To be selected from the list of predefined units.

Purchase Price: The basic purchase price of the Item.

Selling Price: The basic selling price of the Item.

Taxable Item: To indicate if this Item/Product is exempted from Tax.

Tax%: The Tax percentage for the Item.

Stocking Item: To indicate if Closing Stock Quantity and Value has to be calculated for this Item.

Reference File: A reference to a drawing or a picture or any document about the Item. In View mode, on Double-clicking the mouse button on this reference the file referred will be opened.

Carry Over: To indicate if the Item/Product has to be created for the New Financial Year.

Item Specification: A brief specification of the Item can be entered in one or more lines.
